Hello

Hi everyone I am new to the forum and am currently reviewing many of the posts but in the mean time wanted to introduce myself. I am new (again) to saltwater fish aquariums. I recently traded with someone for a 150 gal saltwater tank with several accessories. I say new again because about 25 years ago I had a 55gal tank with various fish but no live rock and was set up somewhat unconventional as I was more familiar with freshwater and did not have the internet to guide me. I have read the setup and beginners articles and although they are educational, I still need some help. I guess in other words what I am confused about simply put what are these accessories (although I do know some of them like the air pumps/stones, etc.) and how to I hook them up correctly for proper operation. I also would like to know if there are accessories like the skimmer or something like that I am missing that I would also need to get. I have pictures I can post or send. If you would like me to post them tell me if it is ok to post here or in a different forum section/thread.

Thank you all in advance,
Albert

Hello and welcome to fishlore..
Isnt the internet a wonderful tool? I also started years and years ago with fish keeping and since found the internet and especially this forum so helpful and wonderful.
You may want to start a thread in the Saltwater section of the forums where there are SW experts to give you a hand with your questions and be able to help you out. Photos are certainly helpful, post away!
