Just back into the Aquarium scene as the result of recieving not just one..... but Two brand new Tank setups A Glass 55g rect. and a 50g Corner Acrylic both semi complete ( well complete to the
LFS anyways) set ups. The end result will be the corner 50g will have plenty of light as it is getting the lights from the 55g. The 55g will get some
DIY Overdriven T8 lights, along with DIY Co2, Both Tanks to be Live Planted with Eco Complete substrate.
Stands and canopy's are out in the garage waiting to be cut to size and built. Guess you can also tell im kinda big into DIY, or as they say on the other forums ( dang most of them are in the UK ) A Low Tech Warrior.
Lights will run around 60.00 total and yeild 1.5+
WPG on each tank, more than enough to get'r done.
Co2 system: not entirly sure but around 5.00 each, i will probobly parallel a couple of them,
both stands and canopys have cost me so far 139.00 in materials.
and hope to start that build tomorrow, and have functional stands by Thursday. ( notice how i snuck in the "functional" instead of complete).
Anyways, im sure this is all old hat to everyone else here, but new to me, so i am excited to get it started.
