Hellooo, Just Got Back Into Fish! 45, 10, and 1 Gal...check em out!

Ello everyone, I'm Dan, 21 from West Chester, PA.

I had a 20G Community Tank for 15 years in my room, and after the last fish died (Pleco 8"), I took it down. Recently, I was walking around Petsmart and saw a 45G bowfront and just bought it. Ever since, I've been hooked.

I have some pics that I'll post, but I'm trying to figure out how to take better ones with no glare or blurryness...

45 Gallon Bowfront
-Top Fin 60 Filter
-200W Heater
-LivepH Meter
-Thermometer
-Artificial Everything...don't have much time for real plants..

and now the fish...there's quite a few Cichlids in here, and I know the Oscars will need a new home when they get bigger, but so far all the fish get along great and there's only a mild amount of chasing going on between the Convict and the Parrot.

-1 Convict 3 1/2"
-1 Red Parrot 3"
-1 Tiger Oscar 3 1/2"
-1 Albino Oscar 2 1/2"
-1 Jack Dempsey 2"
-1 Gold Gourami 2 1/2"

There is a goldfish in there, but he's being removed tomorrow...

10 Gallon Standard
-Top Fin 10 Filter
-Heater
-Thermometer

There's quite a few fish in this tank, all fairly small and they all get along great.

-2 Comets 1 1/2" -removed tomorrow
-1 Spotted Molley 1 1/2"
-1 Blue Gourami 2"
-1 Male Guppy (my girlfriend picked it out...weak) 1"
-3 _____ Tetra's 1" each
-1 Red-tailed Shark 2"
-1 Female betta 1"

1 Gallon
-Top Fin Kit
-Air Stone, gravel, plants that can't tear fins
-Blue/Red Betta (Xxavier McDavis III)

I'll post pics in a second, just need to see if the 45 cleared up cause it was a little cloudy today and thought possibly a blackout would help...

Glad to be on the site though, seems very friendly/informative and that's what I need!

Peace

Hi Welcome to Fish Lore

Some of our members take wonderful pictures, I'm not one of them.
Maybe this thread will help you.:
Aquatic Photography - A Personal Experience
Looking foward to seeing your pics.

May I suggest that you consider moving the bettas to heated filtered tanks of their own (seperate, of course)?

Our members have a wide range of knowledge and are always willing to help. Hope you enjoy the forum.

Good luck

Both tanks looks cloudy in the pics, but the 45 cleared up overnight and the 10 has always been clear....

Thanks everyone!

Sooo, anyone want a Convict? He's far too aggressive and I'm really tired of him chasing around everyone else in the tank...it's really annoying.
