My betta had pop eye.I put the medicine in he was fine.1:00 past he was still ok.Then he want all crazy and die.Did i do some wrong ?
I had him for 2 year he was go to be 3 in 2 days.

welll that actully is the average lifespan of a betta, and considering that he was a few months old at least when you got him thats just saying that you didnt do anything wrong, i cant explain why the pop eye, and then sudden death im not overly knolegable with disease but i would say that age would make the imumme system weaker so the pop eye was harder on him

I'm really sorry you lost your betta.
It sounds like you must have given him a good life for 3 years.

i would still be very proud of yourself, obviously you know how to care for you betta alot of people get them thinkin how easy it will be and end up abusing them threw ignorance as we like to say. I know its not much and you must have been pretty attatched to your betta but you did nothing wrong. You could always give it another shot and work you magic on another betta, there are tons of betta lovers on this forum that might get you addicted though be care, cough*cobettacouple* martinismommy)* cough and many many more, well good luck and dont be shy keep posting

Thank you everybody i feel like it was my fault. But i know he can't be with me forever He was my best fish i got.He feel like he was a real parson and talk to me when am sad.
I will get a new fish on my birthday

I'm glad you'll be getting another one, it sounds like you're a good betta mom.
What size tank will it have? I hope at least 5g's to itself.

Welcome to the forum, sorry you lost your betta. It's really hard to see them go, but believe it or not 3 years is the full average life span, so please don't feel like you did something wrong, they just get old and fragile, just like people.

This how the really story about my fish .(My fish name Mario) He was very healthy he didn't have pop eye and ate fin too.Then my cousin came over for 4 day .she keep go to him.She feed him and all more then me every 30 min. It feel like she sole my pet fish.I new she go to go soon.The scened last day came.Me and her got in a big fight i went out i was so mad.When i came home she was watching a movie.I went in my room to feed Mario and he was going crazy in the bowl.It was so wired he never go crazy that much. when i look down i saw a moon stone ring,button and a pin.I clean his bowl.I don't know how long it was there but i know its bad.Then he die .I think if i move the fish he was would ok.
