This is an excellent site! I'm glad my google search found this. My daughter has a 10 gal. tank now thanks to her spoiling grandpa. We just added assorted mollies last week to the established tank and now have 30 babies. Joy.
I raise salamanders from other countries so that's my niche. Not fish. I have minimal knowledge of fish other than the best grilling or steaming techniques.

how many mollies? and 30 babies already? wow! I've had that experience with my guppies. momma gave birth in the bag coming home... and then ate her children. Anyways, the babies will have some chance of survival in a well planted tank. Otherwise, momma will go canibalistic.
30 babies? What are you going to do with them all?
