That sounds even better, just make sure that whatever fish you decide to put in your tank, don't eat your shrimp. Yes they are cute little critters.

Well my brother loves to eat shrimp, I had to explain to him that if we got some they would be pets... It took him a while to understand but he gets it now:]

Guppys are very active, if you decide to get them remember to get about 3 females to every 1 male. Neon tetras are also very busy little fish and are beutiful to look at, they also add coulor to your tank. Go to FRESHWATER FISH PROFILES, that will give you all the info you need on what fish to get. It tells you how big the fish will get, their feeding habbits, compatible tank mates, ect... Remember that if you come accross any COULOR GLASS FISH, DO NOT BUY THEM!!!! They are artificialy coulored. What they do is they catch the fish and then they inject them with neon coulors, they are not bred naturaly.

lol, definately! They make me really mad.. Although I would like to go off on one of the employees I blame the manager. I know the employees are good people and know what they are talking about at my LPS because a lot of them stick around the shop even after their shift just to look at the fish and other animals. They tend to still answer questions and help out even when not paid. So hopefully someday I shall have a word with the management!

I spoke to the manager of our LFS about the coulor glass fish and he didn't even know how they got their coulors and luckily he is a fish lover and is now refusing to stock them. The problem is that alot of the pet stores that sell fish don't know anything about the fish they are selling, so it is always a good idea to ask questions and make sure that the person you are talking to knows what they are selling and all the info needed about the fish you want to buy!!

Good for him. I won't give business to any place that knowingly carries dyed fish. I'm glad he's got the right response to finding out about them.
