Hi, Gosh yes, if you look up Discus fish, you'll see that it's the fish who don't need to drink poison.......Specifically Sodium Biphosphate, which is sometimes used as a pH buffer....Story is called "Phosphate Discus Disaster." A sad but true story......Watch what additives you add to your tank, sometimes shops just want to sell their products! (No names, as is site policy!). Hi there anyway..... Cheers Jewels
