New to this fish forum stuff, but definitely not new to keeping aquariums. I've had multiple aquariums over the past few years, my biggest one being a 75 gallon tank. I've been out of the hobby for a little over 18 months, since I got deployed to Iraq, I had to take down all my tanks and find new homes for my fish. Now I'm starting back again, except smaller.
I found an awesome deal on CraigsList, so now I have 4 fish tanks: 30 gallon. 20 gallon. 2 10 gallons, and a 5 gallon. They have all been cycling (fishless of course)now for about 2 weeks.
Don't know what I'm going to do with the 30 gallon yet, I would appreciate any ideas! As for the 20 gallon, I'm almost 90% sure I'm going to turn it into a guppy tank and use 1 10 gallon as a fry grow out tank. The other 10 gallon is going to be a Hospital/Quarantine tank. The 5 gallon is going to be used for a betta and some red cherry shrimp.

So if you have any ideas for my 30 gallon tank let me know. I could go either community, a few bigger fish, or species only. Any advice or suggestions would be great. Thanks for taking the time to read this long post.

Angels aren't a bad idea, but won't 2 of them outgrow a 30 gallon? Also, don't they prefer tall tanks? My 30 gallon is just the standard rectangle (not tall).

30g is big enough for a pair of angels. They do prefer tall tanks, but can be housed in regular tanks.
