newbie from Goulburn, NSW Australia
Hi, I have had my tank, 3 foot long, for about 18 months now and i think that i have just gotten the hang of being able to keep everything alive at the same time, i either lose the fish or lose the plants. But fingers crossed they are all happily living together now.
I have in fish
1 spinny eel - he came with a plant i bought (a ring in)
10 neons
5 guppies
5 cat fish
2 kuhlie loaches
2 mollies
some annubis plants on logs
hair grass
grossostigma
many other plants
Looking forward to seeing set ups from others in this hobby/obession

Hello Mackaimee and welcome to fishlore!
I was trying to figure out what size tank you have in gallons? Liter size?
Glad to hear that you have things stable in your tank.. it does take awhile to get it all down right and can be frustrating for sure in the beginning.
Do you have any photos of your tank to share? We look photos...

thanks,
I will hope to post a picture of my tank soon, it is about 140-160 litres. in regards to have we had much rain out this way, from peterpiper, no. We have only recently come of level 5 water restrictions. we had some rain back in october/november that and the fact that we are getting water from another water source allows us to reduce our restriction level, more rain would be great, it all seems to fall on the NSW/QLD border, can't help bad luck.

kra-z-fishmumm
I just do it very carefully and wave the vacumm cleaner about a bit to cause the muck on the bottom to rise up a bit so that i can suck it up,
