Hi tcoop, and welcome to fishlore,
A marine tank will be a challenge if it is your first tank.
And as the tank has not been cycled you will have issues with fish loss/death due to Ammonia, Nitrite and Nitrate.
As you say you dont know the Nitrogen cycle in the aquarium info, I have a link for you that will explane it for you.
http://www.fishlore.com/NitrogenCycle.htm.
IMO, You should return the fish ASAP, If you can not return them, then start doing water changes, do a 50% change now to reduce the readings.
Do you have any Live Rock in the tank? ( Im hoping you have 70-100lb )

Welcome to FishLore tcoop!

Starting a new tank can be a lot of fun, but if it hasn't been cycled yet it can cause heartache for the new hobbyist.

I agree with Peterpiper on gettting the fish out of that tank while it cycles. The damsels are prolly the hardiest of the bunch but even they may not make it through a cycle. You'll probably start to see signs of ich or other disease soon as a result of the stress from the water quality if you don't get these fish out of the tank. Live rock is expensive but worth it.

Hope that helps,
Mike

Welcome to Fishlore.
Mike is one of the most knowledgeable people I have "met" when it comes to saltwater, and Peter is working his way up there. There are several other excellent resources around here, as well, and I'm sure they'll chime in sooner or later.

It is hilarious you ask that, because that is the only fresh water fish there!! it is a betta, and if you like that go to the betta thread and there are tons of pics like that.

And welcome to fishlore!
