G'day mate, this is Phil from Sydney.
I'm also about to set up a similar size tank to yours...have had smaller ones in the past...have found this forum very useful and informative.
Let us know what info and advice you can about your tank...filtration, lighting. heating etc.

Hi the tank has 2 eheim filters 2217 and 2215,2x 300w heaters go for bigger filters if you can i clean mine out every 4 weeks they slow down heaps the heaters are fine keep good temp 4 tubes for lighting thats good also down side big tank cost heaps to set up rocks, plants, fish etc.

Seems like you have a similar set up to the one I'm planning...also have decided on 2 eheim filters. Are your 2 300W heaters in-line or submersible? I'm looking at the Hydor ETH 300W in-line. And what wattage are your lights per tube and in total? Are they T5 tubes? How have you found your plant growth and have you noticed much increase in your electricity bill?
Tank pictures look great, mate!

Hi Phil the heaters are submersible sorry I don't know about the tubes they came with the tank i took one out but it doesn't say anything on it, the plants are fake I haven't enough experience yet to get real ones reading up on it, I was surprised about the electricity bill It didn't go up much at all don't even notice it,I have tight lids they make a big difference for the heat and water evaporation, what size filters are you getting I wish now i got bigger ones they slow down very quick.
