Hello Everyone my name is mike I have many other hobbiesthis is just one of many but its pretty close to my favorite one. I have been fish keeping for around 7 years im 23 now but the first few years were with a 10 gallon acrilic tank years 4,5,6 were a 20 gallon and this last year I bought a 55 I enjoy fish keeping theres always something new you can do I have a few pictures I can share as I still want to improve my tank. I have spent lots of money to get it where its at but its still not good enough In the last pic I took alot of stuff out because I had a brown algea problem and did not want to help spread the problem due to the lights I was using
Equipment included in this set up
55 gallon tank
200 watt heater
Fluval 305 canister filter
penguin power head
48 inch Current USA 2x54 watt T5 1 full spectrum 1 plant growth bulb
Moon lighting
Self made canopy
and stand
All lights and cooling are on timers
Here are some pictures throughout the year I have taken the best one was about 3 months ago when I bought a bunch of plants but i did'nt have the lighting i do now and nothing survived I will get it to look better then that eventually I'm getting it about where I want it just needs restocked with plants anyways here are some pics
