I just found thid forum a few days ago and I decided to sy Hi. I am just getting back to having fish after about a 7 year time off. I have 1 - 10, 2 - 20 and 1 55 gal. I have a recovering betta in the 10 with a silver swoard. The betta came to me in the 10 gal. wth 2 cichlids and a yoyo loach. The betta was almost dead with no fins or tail. I have seperated the fish out and the cichlids and the yoyo loach love their 20 gal. I got the Betta some company and they do great together and he is now growing fins and tail back. The toher 20 gal came from a friend whos daughter I was watching for a while and she gave me her old tank and stand. So I got 3 black mollies for it. Well to my suprise I have 5 babies born on 1-1-2008. I am amazed that they have survived, New tank and all. So I am getting the 55gal ready for them to make a move. I have enjoyed having fish again. I hope to bet better pictures to post soon.

Hi Haji4 welcome to our great group! Glad to hear you have so much success. Saving the Betta is super, and getting mollies is awesome. You have my admiration keep it going, you are what it's all about!

I am a big Craigslister and I have been working on setting up my 55 gal and checking it for leaks so I spent some time this morning on Craigslist and my Husband is on his way to pick up a complete 85 gal setup. I am emptying the 55 now and I hope my mollies will like their new home. They have been lots of fun. I used to raise Red tigar Oscars and Managuinses. They were both purchased in breading pairs by accident.
