Hi

Learning. LOL.

I have a 30gal tank, all of my equipment, and Freshwater Aquariums For Dummies book. May the force be with me.

I love the site! So far, I've narrowed my fish choices down to 2 Silver Zebra Angels, 4-2 inch Corys, and a few plants.

Can't wait to learn more, set up my tank, and jump in.

hello and welcome to fishlore Melybu! You will find a lot of wonderful folks here to give you support when you need it. I found this site and the folks here so helpful when I first started setting up my tanks and come here often for advice and for what I can learn from others by just reading posts.
Your choice of fish sound great for your 30g tank.
Dont forget to let it cycle first, since the Angel fish are sensitive to new tanks.

Hi MelyBu. I have the same book, LOL. I love how it says not to place a tank behind a door. Doh!

Welcome to Fishlore!

Angels can be a little tricky if you're an absolute beginner, but you'll get plenty of advice if you decide to go down that route, as we have some angel keepers onboard. Corys are awesome fish, and not heavy producers, but are quiet sensitive to chemistry in new tanks.

I know that livebearers (guppys, platys, mollies, endler's livebearers) are a little more hardy to start off with, but i don't want to influence your choice, so this is just for info (there you go, MORE info! ).
