report

Hi everyone!
I am doing a report on fish for my school. I can't find this info i need and wondering if you could answer it. I am doing Aurora Trout and can't find if it is a Bony fish, Cartilaginous, or Jawless fish.

Thanks!

Welcome to Fishlore. What do you mean by jawless? I know that they have bones and they have cartalidge between some of the bones for movement, other than that, I don't know to much about what you are talking about. Sorry.

Tom,
Jawless fish are fish like lampreies. They have round mouths.

It's a subspecies of a brown or brook trout, and definitly a bony fish.
