I have been reading this site for acouple months now and decieded i would stop lurking and post.

About 3 months ago my co-worker was talking with me about her 20g and all the fish she had. Well that led me to set up a failed 5g my son had. I did lots of research but was not happy with tank size so i bought the 10g. I wish i had read that you should go bigger for your first tank . I was then fortunate 2 months ago when my neighbor got orders and didnt want to take his tank with him. So i ended up with a 30g and 7 african chiclids. I was happy to give the 10g with zebra danios to my son.

But i just wanted to thank everyone that makes this site so great. It really helped me and oh did i need the help. I read and learn something everyday here. Im now very obsessed with fish and the passion of the hobby. My husband thinks im very looney but is very supportive even if he dont get it yet. My boss is so tired of hearing me and co-worker talk about our fish.

It really is a great site to learn about fishkeeping. You were lucky in adopting the African Cichlids and tank set up.. they really are beautiful fish and those electric yellows are gorgeous for sure.
