hi i am new also. im not sure of compatible tankmates with oscars i have a 40 gallon right now. pleeeeeeaaassseee anybody help me ??

Welcome to FishLore! I'm afraid I would not get any tankmates for your oscar until you get a larger tank. You will need at least a 55 gallon tank for the oscar alone. Although it doesn't happen in a year, Oscars can grow to 14 inches long, so please consider upgrading your tank asap. They usually grow about an inch a month the first year but not always. It's great to have you with us! We would love to see pictures of your little guy!
