Very Excited to be here

Hi all, About a month ago my husband announced that he wanted to get a fishtank (he said our 3 cats would enjoy it). I was against the idea and told him it would be too much work. Anyhow, we now have a fishtank and I just love it. I have taken over the entire project (must acknowledge that he helps me carry the bucket of water during water changes). My cat, Big Al, and I love sitting together and watching our fish in the evening.

I have a 29 gallon tank, and I unfortunately did not find your website right away, instead I depended on the pet store's advice. Needless to say, most of my fish died before I found your website- only 4 of my original fish survived (1 albino frog, 2 neon tetras and 1 Dalmatian molly). Yesterday my water test was clear, and so I've added additional fish and so far so good. Here is what I have (I used the 1 inch per gallon, and realize I'm about 1.5 inches overstocked, but I didn't realize it at the time)-- 3 Cory cats, 2 neon tetras, 6 zebra danios, 1 dalmatian molly and 3 mickey-mouse platys, 1 albino frog.

I love my fishtank, and now my husband is worried that I'm spending all my free time on this website!!
