I decided to get an API Master test kit (my old kits were not very precise).

API has a Master Kit for Saltwater and for Reefs.

What is the difference between these two kits? Would the regular saltwater be better choice for testing a brackish tank?

I did search, which taught me that I need some version of a saltwater test kit, but my question specifically concerned the difference between the saltwater and the reef test. They cost different prices at my store and if there's no real difference, I'd rather go with the cheaper.

i have no personal experience on this whatsoever, but i think for brackish, its regular SW. Ask pfp, she has a brakish tank, so she might be able to help you with this
