1. first of all you have way too many fish in that 10 gallon tank. If you remove the 4 damsels that will be a better bio load even though it is still a little too much.
2. By reducing your feedings less
phosphate will be introduced into the water and therefore the algae's food supply will be choked off. I know the look hungry but they really dont need to be fed everyday.
3. Add at least 10 nassarius snails to the tank. they will stir the sand bed and eat some algae for you.
If you take those three steps your algae problem will be resolved an a week or so.
