Cooked 'Prime'?

Because I'm still cycling my tank with my goldfish Molly, I have to do frequent water changes to keep the amonia under control. (Tested .50 today. Not good.) Any way I'm concerned about keeping the new water at the right temperature, because it gets cold in my apartment at night. Today I came up with the bright idea of using super hot water in the evening then letting it cool over night to the correct temperature for use on the next day. The only problem with that is, will it mess with the 'Prime' conditioner? Will it 'cook' the Prime some how and make it less or even completely unproductive? Please let me know quickly because I already prepared some of the special hot water tonight.

I really don't know if heat will effect Prime. Why not just add it right before you add the water to the tank? Just don't forget!

You're absolutely right Lucy. I just read in the sticky water conditioning article that Prime works instataneously! (Duh! )
