Can You Over-Condition a Tank?

Just curious ... I have had a few false starts on setting up a new tank and I have forgotten if I have added conditioner. Other than dumping the tank can I go ahead and re-condition? I'm using Nutrafin Aqua Plus
Thanks,
Scott

This happened to a friend of mine. His little brother poured a whole 500mL bottle (or what left of it) of water conditioner into his community tank, his parents didn't know what to do so they just left it, a day later when he got home his neons and angels were dead, the only survivor was a common pleco. This is odd to me but I'm not going to do an experiment with it. So just try not to OD your fish to be sure.

Yes you can treat it again no problem.
You can over dose but the amount you would have to put in is extreme.
I would guess the example in post #2, there is something else there we do not know about.
