Must have.

At the moment I have Prime, Flourish Excel, and Superbac. I am considering buying API stress coat. What other conditioners should be considered to be stocked at home in case of emergencies or what not?

The test kit I have is Tetra Laborette Master Kit and API ammonia test (ammonia ran out from the Tetra brand) and I don't have a nitrate test. So I will eventually be buying an API test kit.

I also keep on hand Vitachem, and a few meds 'just in case'. That pretty much covers it. Extra filter media?

I see several other things recommended often though, including GarlicGuard and Fish Protector. They could be good to have on hand as well if you like.

What does Vitachem, Garlicguard, and Fish Protector do?

Yes, I have extra filer media hanging out in my marineland emperor 400.

This isn't a med, but it's pretty important if you lose your cycle. Keeping sponges in each aquarium filter to have extra bacteria on hand in case of an emergency-or if MTS hits unexpectedly
