I have been doing my
water change with a convenient syphon connected to the faucet, mixing cold and hot water to get the temperature right and then pour it in the aquarium very very slowly, small amount at the time. It takes about 30 minutes to transfer 15 gallons or so. I add Prime directly in the aquarium as I start the transfer.
Is this still dangerous for
chlorine? or will Prime detoxify it as it enter the aquarium? How long does it take to Prime to neutrilize chlorine?
I know it would be best to add prime to the tap water before but then I would not be able to use my syphon and this would become really cumbersome to transfer the water. But is it safe?
I do only about 15% to 20% water change per day.
