Evaporation

I did a water change a few days ago, and I left the bucket of fresh water to room temperature-ize. Unfortunately, I cant remember if I put in water conditioner or not, so I don't want to add it to the tank. But then I remembered that the chlorine will evaporate, and I was wondering how long that takes. Its been sitting for about four days. Thanks.

do you have water conditioner? and if so what kind? if it gets rid of chlorine and chlorimydes, id just get new water and use that... leaving water standing is more of an old school method and its gets stagnant which isnt good..and most city water now has chlorimydes which is as bad as chlorine and standing for days does not get rid of that.....

Yeah, I have conditioner- stresscoat+ and something by Jungle... I guess I should just dump it, I was just wondering if I could still use it. Thank you!

I would get new water with your stress coat+ and make sure the temp is the same as your tank, and just pour it in with the conditioner...dont bother letting it sit for days...
