does any one use "Stress Zyme"??

I use stress zyme with every water change along with prime, does any one else use it,or should i use some thing else with my water changes.

There's been quite a few debates about Stress Zyme. I used it once and really don't think it did anything to help the tank cycle.
If your tank is cycled properly, you really shouldn't need to add bacterial additives with water changes, only a good conditioner.

If you do a search on the forum you'll find plenty of opinions.

my tank was cycled a long time ago, so I should just use prime. ok hold on read this link & tell if it true or makes sense or its non sense.

Ive just recently started using it, I cant really tell a difference but i think it couldnt hurt. The more good bacteria there better

The thing is that with most of these products there is usually "dead" bacteria, which will not do anything, or the wrong kind, which will die after a weak, leaving you with no cycle.

The only product confirmed to actually help with the cycle (have it done in around one week time) is called Tetra Safe Start.

are you asking because of a cycle issue? or just an everyday or occasional use type of thing? stress zyme is API's version of hagen cycle.(the product not the process) ...it works great as long as you use it for the life of the tank.....

just the prime has you covered, IMO it's pretty unnecessary if your tank is already cycled
