ok here is one for you how offten should i do water changes in my 5 gal hex? i know it has to many fish in it right now we are doing changes once a week should we do it more offten? cause only after one day the water looks cloudy or is that beacuse the tank is not glass? i do want to get a 20 gal glass any thoughts on brands to get need help guys really new to this.

Well, it sounds like your tank isn't cycled... and if you are overstocked, then I would do a water change every day. How much exactly I'm not sure.
I'm sure some of the other folk here will be able to help you more

i dont think it is yet ok i will do a water change every day we just got a gravel vac yesterday didnt know we had to get one and there was a ton of junk on the bottom of the tank it was yuck so we going to do it now i know when we get a new tank to let it cycle for 6-7 weeks before we put any fish in it. we do water test and they all come out ok but the ammonia is high thanks for the info
