question, If using water declorinator to add the new water on my water changes, how long must I let the water sit once it has been treatted? Is it instant, or must it sit for 12-24 hrs?

i dont remember if i already answered this or not, lol, but if not then i know that if you use prime you only need to let it sit for a minute or two. you don't want to let it sit too long because you want it to be as close to the temperature of the tank as you can get it, and the longer it sits the cooler it will get.

oh, but if you have saltwater tanks or brackish tanks the water needs to sit for at least a day

Water conditioners usually work right away, no need to let it sit for more than a minute or so
