Up until now(tank is finally cycled) i have been doin daily 25% water changes. Now that my tank is cycled how often should i do a water change, and how much water. I am gunna get a vaccum ASAP so i can do the water change at the same time. What is the best cheap vaccum for a 10 gallon tank. Do i need any attachments for the vaccum?

I suggest 20-25% once per week.

As to a vacuum...you could go ahead and look into a Python now, so that when MTS hits you in a few weeks and you start adding bigger and bigger tanks you will be fully prepared.

What if evaporation is the reason? My2 HOBs Emperor wont go deep to siphon due to a expansion tube that has a mid-level intake. Thanks for letting me butt in
