Turkey Bastor

CO BettaCouple gave me this idea....tried it yesterday with our fry tank and my betta tanks.
It works awesome...just stick it in between the rocks/I have no gravel and it will suck up the crud underneath without floating off into the water too much.
Sometime siphons and Pythons are way to much for small tank.
Thanks for the idea Dave.

Yep works really well.
I use a computer vacuum brush on the end of a piece of clear vinyl tubing to clean my bare bottom tanks.
Those babies do so much better with a clean tank don't they.

Hehehe, been doing that for longer than a lot of the folks on this board have been alive.
It also comes in handy for placing food down below the surface for bottom feeders, away from the ravenous surface munchers.

Another use...we use a syringe with a piece of air line tubing attached to feed the fishies. a turkey baster would be better. Off to the Dollar Store I go for more basters lol.
