As for the lighting, on the 38 it's the dual-strip t5 lighting from...deep blue?
I can't really find anything on the company who makes the light, online
But those are the lights that my LFS swears by...

I like them quite a bit


Although I'm starting to think that the lighting on the 55g may be a little bit weak...
