| Growout Baby Cons Here are the 3 1/2 week baby cons. I thought they were 4 weeks until I checked my log. They'll be 4 weeks on Friday.
I can't believe they look like little fish now. It's amazing how much they change.
I hope you all enjoy! |

They help with the population control for sure If they can't work their way through all my fry, I may take a page out of your book and get a 75g for an oscar or two |

| Yeah, the Oscars keep the fry in check alright. As soon as they are free swimming out of the cave, they get eaten. That is if the pleco didn't get the eggs first. |

| I didn't know plecos ate con eggs. I'll be keeping THAT in mind for future convict fry population check as well. |

| Yeah...my common sneaks up on my female Con to try to get the eggs she's protecting all the time. Got pretty beat up once, but he bounced right back.
I haven't had eggs in a while now though. I have 2 females and 1 male in my 55. |

| Cool video BB, they look to be very close to breeding size already....lol
Plecos or any catfish will try and sneak after lights out to get eggs.

| Thank you. I'm kinda proud that they've survived, even though they're convicts, it's my first actual successful "spawn". I lose most of my livebearer babies, although I'm hoping to have better luck in the future since I've re-aquascaped for more fry hideaways.
Hmmm, catfish, now that'll be some cool research since I'm no longer restricted to corys due to tank size |

| Yes, they are I'll keep posting pics as they grow. They look like little convicts, but their stripes are just starting to come in. Same shape and everything. They have the convict "eye-slant" as I call it as well.
Man, I wish you were in the states! I would LOVE for you to have some of my baby cons. |

| I had some con wigglers born in my 75 african tank this morning I've only found one white egg, so I think the mortality rate will be low. Are you SURE I can't ship some of these to Mexico? |

| You say the word, Navy, you can have as many as you want! I had another set of convict wigglers today in the 75g african tank. In another couple months, we'll have pinks spawning, too! |

| I just saw on the Aquariacentral website on the classifieds someone looking for Pink Cons. I sell and buy stuff there every now and then. You may want to check it out if you need to sell some. |

| Mine haven't spawned yet, we still have a few months left, but I'm going to PM SWilkins. She usually has an overload and maybe this'll help her out.
Thanks, Navy! |

Ken | Good morning, Ken!
Goodness gracious, I'd forgotten about the video having audio. I'm glad you brought that up.
I'm hoping if I talk to my fish, they live long lives like yours do |
