Moving Threads

How do I move my threads to a folder I created? I realized I have too many that I've created and I'm trying to organize my threads.

Hello Eiginh. I think the only threads a member can move are ones that have been "subscribed" to. Those you can move to a folder you've created. When you try to move your own thread, I don't see an option that states "move to folder". If I discover a way to move your own threads into a folder I'll let you know.
If I'm wrong I'm sure one of the other moderators will chime in

Hi eiginh. I don't think I understand your question. Where did you create the folders?
If you have a blog, one of the mods could move threads to it.
If that's what you mean, pm me the links, I'll move them for you.

I skimmed through your threads, eiginh, and it doesn't seem like many of them are misplaced. There's one or two, but the you've put the rest of them in the proper subforums.

I'm trying to move created threads in "my threads" into different folders. Is that possible to have different folders located in "my threads"? That way I can better organize them? Sorry if I'm not making any sense!

Ah. Gotcha.
So you don't want them actually moved around the forum, you just want them organized when you're using the "my threads" button. Is this correct?

If so, I don't believe it's possible. I'm not sure about this, but I've never noticed such a function with vBulletin before. I'll make sure Mike sees this thread. He'll be able to find and provide a more definite answer.

Eiginh...if you created your own blog then we could move all of your threads or a select few to your blog. All you have to do is private message Mike and he'll set the blog up for you. Once you have your own blog you become moderator of your own blog as well. If you decide this is something you would like to do then select the threads you want moved and let a moderator know.

The "My Threads" link is basically just the regular search results page with the link to it having the clicker's id attached to return their threads... so we wouldn't be able to modify it in that way. We would need an entirely new page set up for the search results. I've never come across any modifications or plug-ins to do something like that but I'll keep a look out for one when I'm browsing the plug-ins.
