On another fish forum I frequent, it is considered acceptable to bump your thread after a few days of silence if your question has not been answered. It's not really encouraged but it's okay. What is the policy on fishlore? I could not find it in the rules.

I'v done it before, and I haven't been banned I think if you use it responsibly then that's fine

Yep. As long as you give people time (at least 24 hours), and as long as you don't constantly do it (if a thread doesn't get responses after the first or second bump, there's probably a reason for that), we generally don't have a problem with it.
This is presuming that the thread is an important question or something of the sort.

yes, I definitely wouldn't bump something like a thread about my day at school lol
