B&G Pet Supplies, located in the City of Newburgh NY.
I personally love this store, the owner now knows me.
They carry all types of animals; fish, rodents, rabbits, birds, reptiles.
They also work with a local rescue & adopt cats out that were picked up off the streets.
They breed their own African Cichlids, and are beginning to breed their own BN plecos. Take in any owner turn-in you may have. They sell some
SW fish, but mainly focuses on
FW. Often have tank-busters such as Pacu that were turned in. Also often have large Oscars & plecos for sale. They have an indoor pond that they keep goldies/koi in along with 2 box turtles. Owner is very nice, as is the fish dept. manager, Walter. Also sell a variety of tetras, live bearers, and other cichlids. They don't seem to have a set order list. Every week they have different types of fish. They sell live food - crickets, and pinkies. They breed their own rodents for live food, kind of sad.
This store is the most expensive in the area, but carries very good stock from local breeders.
