I'm sure most of you have found that the little badges located on all the tanks at your LFS are very, how you say....Wrong! I purchased an albino chocolate pleco, which according the the LFS said it required a 10 gallon tank and only gets about 6", how wrong is that!
Please take very little stock in information from your LFS, research, research, research!
Here he is. We thought about putting him in the tank with the other pleco's (2 big ones) and a gourami, however the gourami doesn't take well at all to new fish, it's her tank .
what a great fish....I have one also...but in a 35 gal, 2 plecs is too much
the 3rd would probably throw the tank way off water parimeter wise...and deffinately would be hassles with the 3 plecs not even including the gourami...goodluck with him tho no matter what you choose..he really is cute !
well hes just a pretty version of a common so he will need 55 gals or more eventually...and if your others are commons, the same with them ...so not sure about other stocking ideas until you know you can get a big enough tank...craigslist.org has a ton of great deals lately..think spring cleaning has been happening for ppl!
Let's see, if i wall-mount my TV, and move some other things around I can easily put in another 75G or so in my room. Or move the one i have in my dining room to the bedroom and get a bigger one in there, who needs a dinning room table anyway .

And just where exactly would you fit it? Mind you its a bit small for a 'common' plec
Unless of course you get a large one Enabling is such fun hahahaha.
Ours was about 8 inches when we moved and I left him with a friend. He was good with everything I put in the tank with him.

Yeah Petsmart (because I don't know where any specialty fish stores are in Las Vegas) is way outta Wack with their labeling. The clown loach says it gets to like 6 inches and needs a 10 gallon tank. Haha get your info off of here not the pet store!
