They have rabbits, mice, rats, gerbils, birds, snakes, turtles, a huge shark of some kind, an alligator, saltwater, freshwater, and pond fish. New and used tanks, lighting, filtration, stuff to buy galore! Big selection in the fish department. Nice set up. Someone did some work and built pipes over head that manage air and filtration.
The man and woman who are always there are the owners, I guess. The woman has always helped me as the man is always in the back/on the phone. She is friendly, knowledgeable, and goes out of her way to make sure I get the plant, fish, snail, etc. that I had my eye on.
I have seen dead fish in the tanks, usually on days a shipment comes in. I can't hold the dead fish against them because I'm thinking the fish was sick before it even arrived.
Their plants do have snails and planaria in them but they have a variety not seen in the chain fish stores around here.
Big plus - she took someones
betta in to medicate him for them. ****brownie points****
Prices are a smidge steep but I happily pay them if it keeps their doors open and gives the big stores a run for their money.
