I'm not sure how to rate this store so i'll simply describe it.
Upon first walking in you will see a bunch of larger aquariums, all seemed priced very reasonably compared to what i've seen at petco and online sites. There was no setups below 5 gallon, he stated getting smaller than that wasn't good for fish. He also said that they can do custom aquariums.
Once you get past that into the aquarium area there is a good 10 rows of aquariums, all are freshwater. With anything from a variety of invertabrates to local minnesota fish, he was out of northern pike at the time sadly

. A lot of the tanks had some algae in them growing on the air tubes but all of the fish were active in the tanks and seemed not stressed out.
The larger fish were all on a back wall that had 90+ gallon tanks to hold them. The larger tanks looked like they had been recently cleaned.
There was also an entire back section dedicated to corals and marine fish. All of them also looked active and not stressed. The marine tanks were all in good condition.
The owner was an older guy who was more than happy to talk about fish/aqarium care as well as was knowlegable about what fish were good in communities, I asked because I was looking for a couple new fish to add to my tank. He was also happy to talk about his own aquariums that he's been keeping since he was a kid.
Overall the shop did look like most local fish stores, slightly dirty and in need of some serious organization for the non-fish stuff. There was a few dead fish in a couple tanks that he seemed concerned about, apparently they weren't dead earlier that day. Overall I was happy with the place as it seemed like the fish were well cared for, active and happy.
If anyone else has anything to add or wants to point out stuff they liked/disliked about it, please do. I was looking for a local pet store that had more variety than petco and was less than 15 miles away and found this place.
