I just got 10 black neons from a LPS by me. They had two tanks of them. It's called Pet World on the corner of 10th and Wadsworth. Its the best LFS I have found around me.

Thanks for that info! We'll have to drive down there the next day we get a chance. Have you been to The Fish Den? It's up at 44th & Sheridan, about a block east of the intersection, on the north side of the street.

No, I haven't. I tried once but I thought it was on 48th which is why i couldn't find it. I'll have to check it out now that I have a better idea of where it is. Thanks.

YW, we just found it ourselves about a week ago and my impression was good. They have low lighting in the fish tanks area and it just seems like room after room of fish, but I didn't see a single dead fish in any tank. We learned about it at the last meeting of the Colorado Aquarium Society. If you've not been to that, check out the next meeting if you'd like. It's over near 44th & Wads. I'll try to get down to the LFS you told me about before the next meeting.

So I finally made it out to The Fish Den. Impressions:

-Lots of fish, my guess is a couple hundred tanks.
-A lot of the smaller fish tanks were crowded. Like the guppies, danios, and tetras where in 10-20 gallon tanks with about 50-100. This was the thing that disturbed me the most.
-Lots of saltwater fish, plants, inverts, and rock.
-Slightly more pricey then the Pet World.
-Staff seemed interested in helping me but I was just looking.

I like both the Fish Den and Pet World. For me Pet World is closer and the prices seem to be lower price for what they have. Pet World also felt more friendly then the Fish Den, this could have been due to the number of times I have been to Pet World compared to The Fish Den.

In the end I think I will go to Pet World unless I'm looking for something specific they don't have, then I will go to The Fish Den.
