Hey thanks for putting this out there. Are you a member? Where do they have most of the meetings and what not? I saw one in duluth which is about a two hour drive in normal traffic from where I am.

Yes, Butterfly and I are both members.
Next meeting is a week from today.

Spring auction is March 9, 2008.

We will be hosting the AMerican Cichlid Association Convention, the largest fish convention in the USA, on July 17-20.

Awesome, I live on the AL/GA border down I-85. I'll see about joining and making a meeting sometime.

Also do all of you live in the Atlanta area? I'm interested in getting a larger tank in the 55-75 gallon range and I'm willing to drive up if you can give me a good deal on a tank you don't need or use

I noticed that they have subjects. Is it worth going if you have no clue about the subject?

How long do the meetings last?

Kids under 10 would probably be bored with the programs.
Folks start arriving at about 6 and the meetings run til 10-1030.
This weeks talk was about apistogramma cichlids.
My water is totally wrong for these fish but I did learn a little about the different river systems in South America.
If you live close, it would be well worth your time.
