Hi Tony
If your nitrites are dropping, you should have a nitrate reading.

im using Nutrafin's Mini master test kit
either way im gonna throw in a bit more flakes than i usually do...
do you think my cycle is dyeing?

I'm not sure Tony. How often are you adding flakes? Having a nitrite reading shows there was bacteria processing ammonia.

I add a pinch 2wice a day one at around 6 am and one at around 7pm

Hmm......I know you just added live plants. Remind me, how long ago and were there live plants in there before the new ones were addd?

i havent added any live plants yet theyre being sent out tomorrow i think...

I thought you had gotten the plants already.
Just keep up what you're doing and keep testing, maybe they're just too low to show up on your tests yet.
