i have 2 neon tetras (getting 4 more), 2 cherry barbs, and a rainbow shark. I'm thinking about adding 3 or 4 tiger barbs, is this a good idea? and if you know of any fish that would go well with my current fish please tell me!

I would get more cherry barbs (they like groups) and rainbow fish also like groups. it would be better to make the fish you have happy than to add another kind of fish.

tiger barbs are nippy but.....
i say it would work,
remember, you lfs can always trade some fish.

It depends upon the store....My LFS doesn't accept donated fish or trades.....
