I have had a school of 7 tiger barbs for about 2 - 21/2 years. they were all between 1 1\2 and 2 inches in size.* They even bred successfully once.* My question is they have all disappeared without a trace.

There must be something in my tank that took a dislike to them but I can't work out what.

I have a tank that is established over approx 10 years and nearly 100 gallons.

It is stocked with

approx 6 green barbs
2 Plecs* 1 about 3 inches in length the other about 2 1\2 inches.
4 golden barbs
2 loaches (algae eaters)
6 pengins
2 cherry barbs

Also I had 3 clown loaches which were doing really well and they have also dissapeared.

Could it be something doesn't like the colours - they are similar

Any ideas as I have a tank ready which I could put the offenders in if need be before all my stock goes.
