TB tank mates?

Currently have a tank stocked with a rainbow shark, clown loaches, and tiger barbs.

What would be a good addition / take mate for these? I'd like something that stays near the top and schools.

All my fish like to hide, with the exception of the barbs but they like to swim through the plants all day

Not really. Tiger barbs are known for being nippy. You could try adding more tigers to disperse the aggression, but there is no guarantee that it will work.

how often are you feeding the tank? and in a 55 gal, for 3 balas who like to swim horizontally, the barbs are going to try to keep them out of their space..the 7 you already have, is a nice size school so I dont think thats going to help by adding more.....sometimes upping the feeding schedules help , but all in all, they are big time nippers and the bala's have to have a bigger tank anyhow ...

Yeah I relocated the balas

I feed them tetra fin color enhancing flakes in the AM, and in the PM i rotate between frozen brine shimp and blood worms.

Currently looking for new tank mates now....
