A few more questions on TB's.

Hello.

I have a few more (probably dumb) questions about my tiger barbs and TB's in general.

After looking around in the forums pictures for barbs, I noticed that between their stripes the color is like a creamy tan colour. Most of my 6 seem to have black spots in their scales. I don't think it's any type of disease because they are very active and healthy, but I just wanted to know if this was normal?

Also, I have 3 larger sized TB's, 1 medium and 2 small ones. Will this have any effect on them establishing hierarchy or is it a definite that the smaller one's will be the followers and the biggest one will be the leader? Should I just have gotten all the same size?

All of them spread out some times and do their own thing which I think is normal, but one of the small ones just hangs out by himself more often than the rest. Should I worry?

Okay, this is my last question I promise. Is it normal for the TB's black stripes to change color to a blueish aqua color? I've recently started noticing this and I'm not sure why it's happening.

Sorry for all the questions, but I must learn! Cheers.

Fish keeping isn't easy so asking questions no matter what it is is better for you to understand. So ask away, no question is dumb.

I'm not really sure. It could just be natural coloration. As long as they are behaving normaly, interacting with the others and eatting they are probably fine and its likely just natural coloration.

You should be fine, they establish a pecking order no matter what size and probly the smaller ones will be last in line, they will grow.

Probly just mood. As long as they are active, you know behaving like a Barb and eatting you shouldn't be worried.
