Hello ive got a tank from my local shop and ive got the cycle going with no fish and the nitrate levels and ph are good. Im going back tomorrow to get some 3-4 Tiger Barbs later on im also getting 2 bala sharks, those cherry fish, and some zebra danio do you think be ok if i let them settle and do you think there will be any problems in the tank.

It would be better if you completed the cycle before putting fish in it. do you know about the Nitrogen cycle?

That's not good enough. Ammonia and nitrites must be zero for the tank to be cycled.

I would not add any fish until then.

Your tank is not nearly big enough for bala sharks. They grow up to 14" each and are extremely active.

I think the problem here is that you need to get a key concept:

All of the levels must be perfect, but "after" they have risen and fallen:

at first ammonia will rise then drop to 0, then ammonia will convert to nitrite, will rise then drop to 0. then nitrate will show up and continue rising.

Both ammonia and nitrite need to rise and drop in a proccess that takes about a month, and that is harmful to fish. Thats why it is not recommended to add fish unless the tank is cycled, no matter what they tell you at the fish store.

Also, the cycle cannot complete or start without an ammonia source. The recommended way to do it is use pure ammonia drops and when the tank cycles, then add fish.

please read this link, it will be much clear afterwards, and if you still have doubts please ask

After your tank finishes fish less cycling, the other thing you should reconsider is your stock.
You list your tank as 60, I'm assuming you mean liters?

Along with Barbrella's advice about the bala sharks, each fish you named, Tiger Barbs, Zebra Danios, and cherry fish (Cherry Barbs?)
should be kept in schools of 6 or more.

Your tank isn't big enough to sustain 3 different schools of fish.

Maybe you could choose 1 schooling fish you really like and add some small bottoms feeders.
Be sure to research the tank requirements and compatibility of any fish you choose.

Good luck

Edit: If your tank is 60 gallons disregard my advice.

Agree. 5 is the minimum for a shoal of tigerbarbs, I have 5. I recommend 10. I'm getting 15 more once I have my 55G set up, along with 2 more loaches and some other stuff too.
