So im thinking of putting 7 tiger barbs and an angelfish along with a red tail shark. Is this possible? Also what other kind of fish can i get? My tank will be upgrading from a 10 to a 28.

Tiger barbs are fin nippers and angelfish have beautiful fins that attract them..so I wouldnt combine them....a 29gallon tall is best for angels as they will have fins stunted if not....

The Tiger barbs will be okay with the red tailed shark. Both species are fast and semi-aggressive so they can hold their own.

I would never put an angelfish with Tiger barbs. It's liable to be ripped up.
