Hi everyone!

One of the fish I bought looks like a tiger barb, but it is bigger and longer than the pics I've seen... can you help me identifying this one?

yes thats a tiger barb...they need to be in schools of 6 or more...big fin nippers also...

But he's bigger than the average.. and he's pretty nice to every fish in my tank, he minds his own business. I have two of them and they are very pacific

mines bigger also...hes gentle as well because hes not in a school i lost all his buds in and uncycled tank....so they are different when they arent in perfect living conditions..just keep an eye on him...

I'm planning buying a 10 gal just for them, so they have room enough...

that looks like a tiger barb. i have 10 of them and they are not so aggressive anymore. when i had only 4 they were but now they just leave all the other fish alone. i love tiger barbs!!!

When I had only two tigers they killed a good number of fish I tried to keep with them. Now that I have five they are a lot less aggressive. You might want to get a few more, for the safety of your other fish, but a separate tank for tigers only is also a good idea too.
