Im thinking about getting some tiger barbs and kurhil loaches. What plants do you guys keep in with your fish? Thanks

what plants you can keep depends on your lights. how big is your tank and how much wattage is over it?

The tank is 25g ATM its just a tank with nothing in yet. i wanna have everythying ready before i get the fish.
I'd like plants that have little or no maintenance needs. lol

For low light, low maintenance plants, you can't go wrong with Java ferns. Just tie them to rocks, wood or decorations and that's it!

at walmart they have plant bulbs in the fish section. they are wonderful

For simplicity and ease of care Java Fern would for sure be a good choice. As for your tank becoming a garden, that's the best part. With low to medium lighting you won't have very much rapid growth anyway. My Water Sprite is by far the fastest grower I have and it is still slow enough in my light to be VERY easy to maintain. I really like how it looks too. I'd also suggest going to www.plantgeek.net and checking out their plant list. Helped me out a lot.
