Good Morning, Good Morning, To You!

Good Morning!

It's raining... i have my "rainy day stash o' cash" that's begging to be put to use... my LFS is open 8:00am - 8:00pm... I have an empty, but cycled, 2.5 gallon aquarium... my LFS just got a recent shipment of tiny exclamation point rasboras... $3.00 a hit... i have $20 to spend... i know what I'm gonna do today.

Stay tuned for pictures!

They're settling down right now. I WILL post pictures later today.

@ BB and Gourami Guy, they're part of the group of fish called Micro-Rasboras, small schooling fish that attain no longer than about 1.2" long! They're adorable! The body is tan or yellow, with a darker brown or green line running down its body with a dot at the end of its tail, hence "exclamation point".

My LFS recommended 2.5 gallons minimum for a group of 5, since they're so tiny. Right now, mine are looking a little lost in the aquarium, its huge compared to them. The tank itself is small, a 2.5 Minibow from walmart.

Thanks for the comments guys! I'm loving these little guys. They didn't take food yesterday, but they just arrived, so I'll see if I can get them to eat today. Oh, and since these fish are smaller and more active, will they have to eat more times a day, or can i just feed them twice a day?

IMO, you could feed them twice a day but careful not to feed too much as you don't want to overfeed or anything.

Beautiful arrivals you have there. Never really heard of them, great to discover though
